The Heckler & Koch MG4 is a light machine gun featured in Warzone: Iron Wolf.
Warzone: Iron Wolf[]
- "The MG4 sports a low controlled recoil and rate of fire, allowing easy handling for most situations. Use it to hold down choke points or an objective, it has the uncanny ability to suppress targets at any range. Be mindful of faster, hard hitting enemies such as those wielding SMGs or shotguns."
- ―Call of Duty: Elite Description
Campaign[]
The MG4 appears as an enemy weapon and can be found with various attachments in Memories, Act of Valor, Just Cause, Cedo Nulli, Grieving Wolfpack and The Last Predator.
Multiplayer[]
The MG4 is unlocked at default. It is a relatively easy weapon to handle and is a favorite for new and seasoned players alike. It offers the lowest damage of the class, but the best accuracy and lowest recoil. It can be effective at holding down corridors with open lines of sight, but is more vulnerable to fast moving players and close quarters combat.
The MG4 holds the highest amount of reserve ammunition, 500 rounds. Compared to the other LMGs, this is quite a blessing due to its ability to suppress targets at further distances. It is also the only LMG that does not differ in damage over range.
Be aware that the MG4 has a very slow reload, taking longer than any other weapon in the game, it does leave the user vulnerable for a long time. It would be wise to find a safe place to change belts and keep your secondary handy in case of being attacked by surprise.

Zombies[]
The MG4 can be bought from the Mystery Box for 950 points and is considered a coveted weapon to have. The low recoil and increased damage from its multiplayer version make it ideal for accumulating points. However, the slowed rate of fire often puts it at a disadvantage when facing multiple zombies on higher levels, where their massive amounts of health will cause them to survive the barrage of fire. Reloads are sluggish, with Speed Cola being essential for survival on higher rounds. It holds its 100 round magazine with 400 spare ammo.
When Pack-A-Punched, it becomes The Processor and it gains an extra 25 rounds onto its clip for a total of 125 rounds and 500 reserve ammo. The Processor now fires at a faster rate, dealing a drastic damage increase with the same amount of recoil. The reload time is reduced by a quarter, making it conducted with Speed Cola to have a new magazine much quicker.
