The Knight's Armament Company LMG, or the KAC Stoner 96 is a light machine gun featured in Warzone: Iron Wolf.
Warzone: Iron Wolf[]
The KAC Stoner 96 makes its debut in Warzone: Iron Wolf with a 100 round belt magazine. It has the highest fire rate of the LMG class. A unique underhand version will be available in a future Zombies map.
Campaign[]
Predator operative "Deuce" uses this as his main weapon, equipped with an ACOG scope and an unobtainable bipod. The KAC Stoner 96's only useable appearance is in Cedo Nulli. It is found in the Predator resupply cache that is dropped with an EOTech Holographic sight.
Multiplayer[]
The KAC Stoner 96 is unlocked at level 15. Unlike the other machine guns, it has a wild recoil pattern. While it is less of an issue at medium to close range, it is enough to throw off at more distant enemies. The iron sights aren't preferable to some, so substitution of a Reflex or EOTech Holographic suits well. Grip can also dampen recoil to be more controllable. Also beware of its sub-par hipfire, which is among the worst in the class, which can be assisted with the Laser Sight.
The Stoner's best asset is its fire rate, used to the fullest at close range quick engagements and suppressive action where it can compete with the assault rifles and SMGs. The time to aim down its sight is slow, making the Quickdraw Grip a desired choice as well. The reload is quick, the fastest for the belt-fed LMGs which compliments the rapid fire well. Using the Over-gassed Action bolsters the fire rate to an unmatched level of the entire class. However it also increases the already high recoil and control can get out of hand, even at a medium range.

Zombies[]
The KAC Stoner 96 appears in Zombies in a future DLC map as the Chain SAW variant designated as such and is held underhand similar to the Death Machine. It will be available out of the Mystery Box for 950 points. Like the Death Machine, aiming will only cause a slight zoom, as the Chain SAW lacks iron sights. Not much is known about it, however it is believed to be a powerful weapon..
