"Déanfar an t-eolas ar an eolas." translating to "The Unknown will be conquered." Division 666 motto
Division 666 (Irish: Rannán 666) is an Irish scientific research group who was allied with the Chinese research group Divison 425. Like their allies, their mission was to counter and investigate the supernatural and to research "Geistkraft" which was created by Dr.Peter Straubs during WWII. Their headquarters is in the Belfast Aerospace Defense Center (BADC).
During the zombie mode of Call of Duty Shadows II, during the waning years of 2nd Irish Civil war, several Division 666 soldiers lead by Colonel Elon O'Duffy and Lt.Maria O'Neil to investigate an abandon RAF/Irish Air Corps airbase in Ulster. They discover that the Nazi's somehow were conducting experiments with Geistkraft in a lab underneath the base, but the zombies escaped and have overrun the area. The Irish soldiers barely hold off the infected, before the arrival of The Sigma society who neutralize the remaining zombies.
In the nightmare mode, several Divison 666 soldiers are seen being overrun by zombies after they sent to secure a Sigma Foundation lab. Many Divison 666 scientist and security personnel are among the infected hordes. Dr.Zhi Ruo is a member of Divison 666 and one of the playable characters. In this mode, the Belfast Aerospace Defense Center has been used as a fortress for the remaining staff of Divison 666, Divison 425, and of the People's Republic Armed Forces, and the Ulster People's Armed Forces.
In the map "Traiceanna briste" several zombie soldiers appear wearing Divison 666 armbands and two officers appear wearing division 425 armbands.
Known members[]
- Dr. Yui Gorbachev: A soviet Bio-weapons researcher, who worked at Outpost 67 in Iceland.
- Dr. Zhi Ruo: A Chinese female scientist working at the Belfast Aerospace Defense Center. She previously worked with Division 425. She is a member of the 69 crew including Lt. Maria O'Neil, Boris, and Hains.
- Colonel Elon O'Duffy: The commander of Division 666's security forces he led an expeditionary force to investigate an abandon RAF airbase/Nazi laboratory in Ulster, where he encountered the Undead menace below.
- Lt.Maria O'Neil: A Division 666 helicopter pilot, who was stranded when the zombie outbreak occurred in Belfast.
