Call of Duty: Resistance - Open Beta was an alpha version of Nakamura Interactive's Call of Duty: Resistance. The open beta was active from May 12th to the 15th in 2019, a month before its release date. The beta only included two maps and modes from its multiplayer and only one map for its Zombies mode.
Multiplayer[]
Modes[]
Two modes were included in the Open Beta, Team Deathmatch and Cat and Mice. The only different between these modes and their full-released counterparts is that these beta modes had its setting slightly changed. CvM was only limited to 12 players.
Maps[]
Two maps in the Open Beta were playable by those who played it. Frozen and Heights were available with the two being compatible for TDM and CvM.
Killstreaks[]
Players only had access to a select few killstreaks and those included; UAV, CUAV, I.M.S, Sentry Gun, Airstrike, Warthog, SpySystem, EMP, and Attack Gunship.
Perks[]
Players had full access to the perks in the beta. These included; Field Runner, Focused, Assault Trooper, Supporter, Combat Medic, Hardline, Buster, Heavy Trooper, Hunter, Slight of Hand, Blast, Hail Mary, Rambo, Assassin, Hacker, and Stealth.
The Open Beta was what made the developers restrict some perks when certain perks were equipped such as Buster and Heavy Trooper.
Weapons[]
Players had access to a select few weapons in the Beta. These included; AK-12, AR160, AN-94, AK-74, PP-2000, MP5, AK-12u, Uzi-P, LSAT, RPK-12, M249, UTS-15, KSG, M590, M40A5, M39 DMR, Barrett M98B, P226, .44 Magnum, Glock 17, FN57, M9, TF-19, and Javelin SAM.
Zombies[]
Map[]
The only available map in the Open Beta was Hospital. The weapons from the multiplayer was available in this map.
Characters[]
Characters included in this map were characters that appeared in Federation War and Infected. The voice dialogue of the characters were the original voice actors who voiced Lindsay Fall, Haley Rose, and US President Anakin Nakamura. Private is also a character but does not feature any dialogue. The beta was the only source for crossover voice lines between Federation War and Infected.
